The Demon Emperor was Saint Emperor

Chapter 143: Crossing to the Demon Realm

Chapter 143: Crossing to the Demon Realm

By noon, Lynn found the hardworking Vivian and Catherine, gave them a brief explanation, and prepared to take the kids home first.

He had some important matters to attend to after midday, so he explained to his family that he would be going out and would return later in the evening.

Lynn didn’t explicitly say, and they wouldn’t specifically ask. Not to mention, he knew he’d be coming back at night, even if he truly spent the night out gallivanting and didn’t return; they weren’t planning on intervening.

It’s not a question of whether they could control him, but mainly because of trust and confidence.

They trust Lynn a lot; someone of his stature wouldn’t possibly go out and mess around, that would be beneath him.

They’re very confident in themselves as well. In the vast Celestial Destiny Empire, in terms of appearance and figure, how many could compare to them?

Thus, with his wives’ trust, after returning home and having lunch with the family, Lynn left the Lynn Mansion alone.

He wound through the streets, ensuring no one was observing him secretly, then accelerated into the empty former Princess’s Mansion.

Since Helena moved to the center of the Imperial Palace, the previous Princess’s Mansion was abandoned, with not even maids or servants left behind.

It’s not that Helena has no sentimentality at all, mainly since the original Princess’s Mansion was decorated according to Natasha’s taste, pure nouveau riche style, which is considered terribly tacky.

Now, with the even more splendid Imperial Palace, Natasha couldn’t care less about this place, although she did have all the gold and valuables scraped away, leaving nothing behind, turning Her Majesty the Empress’s former residence into a half-abandoned mansion.

However, this provided Lynn a good hiding spot; regardless of its abandonment, it’s still within the Imperial City, not easily approached by ordinary people, and because it was Her Majesty the Empress’s residence for many years, even uncommon folk dare not approach.

After sneaking into the Princess’s Mansion, Lynn found the least conspicuous small room and slipped inside, then inserted a Command Banner at the door.

A minuscule Protective Magic Array, capable of resisting attacks below Level 800 for a quarter of an hour, a precious item for wealthy players, rendered invincible in the Divine Protection Continent where the highest level is only Level 750.

With all preparations complete, Lynn then drew out the Demon Mirror from the Spatial Ring and continuously infused it with Magic Power until it drained him dry, barely opening a person-sized spatial passage.

Level 630 full Magic Power, even Magic Power of a Demon Emperor’s pure essence, couldn’t support a passage that would allow an Abyssal Demon to pass through; the Demon Mirror’s power is strong, but its consumption is indeed frightening.

Luckily, he wasn’t a two-meter-tall Abyssal Demon, so this partial passage was enough for him to traverse worlds.

Observing the space-tearing spatial passage before him, Lynn hesitated only for a moment and stepped directly in.

With a dizziness far beyond ordinary teleportation assaulting him, Lynn steadied himself, taking just a blink to land on a jade floor.

Raising his eyes, he saw a pile of rare treasures, both those named and unnamable.

Among these items, a small portion was qualified to occupy a backpack slot of Lynn’s, and a tiny fraction was worthy of his treasure vault.

But Lynn ignored these treasures, as he wasn’t there to strike it rich, why would he care about treasures of another’s vault.

"Demon Emperor, sir..."

At this moment, a rather familiar voice came from outside the vault.

Lynn followed the voice and discovered the vault door had been pushed open by someone. However, no light penetrated from outside. It appeared to be a secret passage outside, estimating this vault to be a hidden chamber.

Doesn’t this mean if I were to do something to a Demon King here, she wouldn’t be able to scream for help with magic?

Uh, just kidding.

Lynn solemnly watched the silhouette emerging from outside the door, the first thing catching his eye was a pair of truly invincible long legs, genuine long legs because their owner was taller than him, probably no less than 1.95 meters, while Lynn himself was only 1.88 meters.

It’s impolite to keep staring at someone’s legs, so after marveling at how those legs deserved a good pair of stockings, Lynn made eye contact with the demon.

They were extremely beautiful eyes, captivating even without eye makeup, proclaiming her status as a peerless beauty just with those eyes alone, a rare sight among the beauties Lynn had seen.

"Ilya Murphy, pleased to meet you."

Seeing that familiar half-face in the passageway, Lynn politely stepped forward a few steps to extend a hand to her.

Proud Demon King Ilya was momentarily stunned, then recalled it was a Human Race’s etiquette; she had been secluded in the Demon Realm for so long, only heard about it, so initially didn’t respond.

"Hello, Demon Emperor, sir."

Ilya hesitantly extended a hand to grasp Lynn’s, only to regret it immediately, as once Lynn grasped her hand, he deliberately squeezed before letting go.

I knew it, no matter how tough a witch talks, when touched, she’s soft...

"My time is extremely valuable, make the arrangements a bit faster so it doesn’t affect me getting home to be with my wife."

Pinching the arrogant, not very eloquent Proud Demon King, and without allowing her a chance to react, Lynn pulled a serious face and addressed business.

Ilya was initially secretly angry at Lynn’s rudeness but, seeing he went straight to the point without additional terms, being the seeker, even as a new Demon King leader, she couldn’t nitpick too much; that would indeed make her seem petty.

"Please, follow me, Demon Emperor, sir."

Ilya slightly shifted sideways, then moved those long legs forward, Lynn watched behind her swaying figure, unable to help but marvel that a devilish figure truly wasn’t just for show; even without a full view of her face, her allure remained unaffected.

It’s just a pity she’s not an Enchanting Demon but a pure-blood Abyssal Demon, with a quite quirky personality, presumably lacking in charm.

Following Ilya out of the secret passageway, a wide view unfolded before him, all he could see were casual furnishings, appearing not much different from an ordinary human noble.

If forced to identify a difference, it would be the thick Demonic Qi permeating the room, seemingly related to the environment and materials used to construct the house.

"A good laugh for you, Demon Emperor, sir, I’m never one for indulgence, so my dwelling might seem plain compared to the Imperial Palace of the Celestial Destiny Empire."

Ilya timely spoke, diverting Lynn from his wandering glances.

Is it Ilya’s boudoir? Then it isn’t convenient to glance around, but it doesn’t matter; it’s already imprinted...

"Since the Demon Emperor’s time is pressing, I won’t delay any further, let’s begin."

With that, Proud Demon King Ilya reached out to grab Lynn’s collar and forcibly pulled off his top.

Lynn: "!?!!"
